Classification systems have been widely discussed in psychiatric discourse and practices. Though criticized for their hegemonic and regulative implications, they nevertheless seem an unavoidable part of grasping and organizing life. This article aims to outline two different ways of dealing with classifications within the psychiatric daily routine.
