The World Report on Disability (WRD) is a seminal work, organized by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the World Bank (WB). The report was created over more than 3 years, with international participation, the inclusion of both professionals and consumers, and has nearly 380 contributors . It is a work that can and should be used by disability communities around the world for background support, development of programs and concepts, and implementation of leading-edge approaches to disability and disability rights.
