Validating the Protective Factors of Monogamy Theory?

The Family Journal, Ahead of Print.
Monogamy or fidelity is a common relationship structure and can be traumatic when violated. The Protective Factors of Monogamy Theory was presented in previous research to explain how people successfully maintain monogamy. The purpose of this study was to determine the strength of the relationship between the factors. A total of 35 components were extracted and accounted for 84% of the variance explained with a reliability score of .941.
