The Duty of Candour – an Adult Social Care Perspective

From October 2014 health care provider organisations which are registered with the Care Quality Provision will be bound by a Duty of Candour; they will be legally obliged to disclose to people using services, or family members when appropriate, when there have been failures in the health care provision.
