High Fidelity Wraparound

Wraparound is an ecologically based process building on the collective action of a team to mobilize resources and talents from a variety of sources to support families in their communities. In the wraparound process a team of people are brought together around all the components of a family’s life incorporating their history, culture, relationships and other relevant information to address their challenges and formulate possible solutions. Wraparound also includes a series of practice steps bringing a group of people together to craft and match services, supports and interventions to meet unique family needs. Often referred to as a process rather than a service or particular type of intervention, Wraparound integrates and builds on a variety of concepts from a range of sources. This integrative nature makes Wraparound particularly adaptive to the organization, context and people involved in implementation.
