This policy supports the Department’s efforts to provide safety and placement stability for non-minor dependents (NMDs) in out-of-home care. It is the role and responsibility of DCFS to ensure that the interests and needs of DCFS placed NMDs are served to the highest level by ensuring that all standards and services as detailed in Title 22 regulations are maintained in all out-of-home care facilities.
