Jessica comes from a family that embodies Wisconsin values. Her grandfather was raised in the Great Depression in Minnesota and was a career-long Teamster truck driver. Her grandmother was raised in the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community, part of the Lake Superior Band of Chippewa Indians. Her Marine veteran father, who served in Desert Storm, now relies on VA services. Her registered nurse mother worked through the pandemic in Oak Creek emergency rooms. Four generations of veterans. Union members. Teachers. Small business owners. Nurses. Social workers.
