Enhancing Motivation for Change Inservice Training (EMCIT)

EMCIT provides materials for inservice training of substance abuse treatment professionals on basic concepts of motivational enhancement. The manual provides eleven 1½- to 2-hour training modules that can be delivered over consecutive days or several weeks. Each module includes presentation instructions, PowerPoint slides (that can be copied onto overhead transparencies), homework assignments, and participant handouts.
