This systematic review to support the 2020 US Preventive Services Task Force Recommendation Statement on behavioral counseling interventions to prevent sexually transmitted infections (STIs) summarizes published evidence on the benefits and harms of behavioral counseling interventions in adolescents and adults at increased risk for the infections.
