Arbitrary federal funding cuts hit North Texas charities

Until recently… there has been little good data about the effect budget cuts and economic uncertainty are having on local nonprofit organizations. But three North Texas community foundations recently collaborated on a survey that helps fill the information void. Survey responses revealed a worrisome, but complicated, funding landscape. Donors, volunteers, elected officials and local governments should be alert to how the changes could affect programs and agencies they value.
