The Divide: Confronting Racism in American Health Care

Across the United States, health care inequities have been shown to follow the same divide that’s been fueled by longstanding racial and socioeconomic segregation. But one city is taking action to address systemic racism in the American health care system. In St. Louis, the Pipeline to Compassionate Care program is working to dismantle the effects of medical racism, one provider and patient at a time.
