In March of this year, 375,789 people
across the province accessed Ontario’s
food banks. This is higher than the total
population of London, Ontario or of
cities such as Guelph, Kingston, and
Thunder Bay combined.
It is hard to imagine that in a province
and a country with so much, that there
are this many individuals, children, and
families accessing hunger relief services.
Every day, food banks across the
province are working hard to provide
food and support to hundreds of
thousands of Ontarians whose resources
are simply insufficient to provide
themselves and their families with
enough food to eat.
