Summary: Report summarising a series of seminars on child sexual abuse held by the Child Protection All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) and the NSPCC. Provides overviews of three seminars, covering: intra-familial sexual abuse; peer-to-peer sexual abuse and young people’s harmful sexual behaviour and prevention of sexual abuse within institutions. Makes recommendations to the Government to better protect children from sexual abuse, including: the Department for Education should ensure that specialised pre- and post-qualification sexual abuse training is available for all social workers and teachers.
