Summary: Findings from a survey of 3,616 children and young people and five case studies exploring experiences of bullying. Looks at reasons for bullying, frequency, how bullying affects children and young people and help-seeking behaviours. Key findings include: 45% of young people experience bullying before the age of 18; 63% of respondents with a physical disability were bullied; and 56% of bullied pupils felt that their education was suffering as a result of bullying. Highlights key demographic findings, identifying similar experiences of bullying shared amongst minority groups.
