This report summarizes the implementation progress of the Money Follows the Person (MFP) demonstration for 30 grantee states (29 states and the District of Columbia) from January 1 to June 30, 2011. Enrollment in MFP continued to grow steadily, with 15,818 cumulative transitions to the community as of June 30, 2011, a 33 percent increase from the end of 2010. During this period, grantees assisted 3,722 people living in institutions to return to the community, more than half of the annual goal. If states continue making progress at this rate throughout 2011, they will achieve or exceed the aggregate 2011 transition goal.
