A Fidelity Coding Guide for a Group Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Depression

Describes the development of the fidelity rating tools for the Building Recovery by Improving Goals, Habits, and Thoughts (BRIGHT) and BRIGHT-2 interventions for depression and substance abuse. Interrater reliability is discussed, and a recommended training plan for fidelity coders in research settings is provided, including coder selection, initial training, and ongoing training. Specific guidance is provided on how to use the fidelity tools.
