A year after expanding to round-the-clock operations, Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare’s Mental Health and Addictions Urgent Crisis Centre has recorded more than 4,200 visits from those seeking help. The centre, also known as MHAUCC, officially began operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week in July 2025, completing its transition to a fully accessible crisis service that includes walk-in appointments, referrals from police and paramedics, and support through its crisis phone line.
