The sweeps in Minnesota—dubbed “Operation Metro Surge”—came on the heels of a racist rant by the U.S. President against Somali immigrants, in which he said the United States would “go the wrong way if we keep taking in garbage into our country,” and that “their country is no good for a reason.”
