Specialist region-wide teams will oversee the care and support of children at risk of, or experiencing, a deprivation of liberty, under Department for Education (DfE) plans. The teams, which will include children’s and adult social workers, mental health practitioners and youth justice staff, will co-ordinate assessments, planning and support for this cohort of children under the Home Again approach.
