Starting to see logistics as something I do every day has helped me better understand my labour not just in my household but in my community, culture, and country. Now that I recognise the organisational skills I have built up over a lifetime of unpaid practice, I can more consciously decide where and how I want to direct them. This is the kind of emotional, intellectual and logistical labour that may just eventually pay off.
