Children, families and vulnerable adults came together in a celebration of social work in the region recently. Around 200 delegates visited the University Centre Grimsby-hosted North East Lincolnshire Festival of Social Work – an event which aimed to strengthen the profession locally. Attendees heard from a range of speakers who shared insights on the vital role social work plays. They also marked the launch of a new social work degree course being offered by the University Centre, which is part of TEC Partnership.
