Editorial: Bard College needs a new president

Albany Times Union | U.S. Department of Justice
Albany Times Union | U.S. Department of Justice

President Botstein has been irreparably harmed by what is revealed in the Epstein files, and the harm to the school he claims to love will worsen the longer he remains president. His presence may impact enrollment and fundraising; more importantly, it will erode the school’s reputation as a trustworthy source of truth and knowledge.

For the good of Bard College, Mr. Botstein should step aside. If he won’t, the Board of Trustees should tell him it’s time to go.
