Gender equality cannot be advanced in isolation from the other inequalities and experiences that shape people’s lives. Bringing this intersectional perspective into international advocacy, and connecting global commitments with action at regional, national and local levels was at the heart of discussions between IFSW and International Gender Champions (IGC) in Geneva on 16 September 2026.
