Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan is changing how it covers mental and behavioral health services, saying that as of March 1, 2027, it will no longer cover counselors, therapists and social workers with limited or provisional licenses as well as temporary limited licensed psychologists working in private practice in Michigan.
