Disposable nicotine vaping products now offer adjustable levels of flavour and coolness

We identified three new disposable ENDS brands available in the US positioned as providing consumer flexibility in flavour levels, claiming to deliver up to 35 000 to 40 000 puffs and offering multiple flavours (eg, Strawberry Colada, Watermelon, Sour Apple) with adjustable levels of coolness and sweetness. The brand Adjust (FEWO Intelligent Manufacturing, Dongguan, China) is available with four adjustable levels of sweetness, sourness or coolness (figure 1A). Another brand, Fasta (Shenzhen Smoore Technology, Shenzhen, China), provides ‘extra ice’ with an additional button (figure 1B). The IJOY brand (Shenzhen IJOY Technology, Shenzhen, China) offers three levels of sweetness and four levels of coolness within the same product (figure 1C). The devices feature interactive touchscreens to activate changes in coolness or sweetness. We purchased one product from each brand through an online vendor in the US and evaluated physical and chemical design characteristics.
