This commentary on Steir’s 2026 article asks the question: What is the role of clinical reasoning in an age of advanced diagnostic tools and technological advances? We use the case study presented as a starting point to explore what clinical reasoning might look like in the future and how the skills highlighted in this case may be applicable for future generations of neuropsychologists.
