The study examines how emotional design affects aged care user happiness and loneliness reduction. The deep neural network-based care platform analyses users’ behaviour and emotions to provide personalized recommendations and emotional support. Participants actively used the website for 3 months to receive tailored services depending on their needs and mental condition. Users rated the platform on simplicity of use, emotional support, flexibility to their emotional requirements, and overall happiness after the study. After using the platform, users reported 25% less loneliness and 40% higher service satisfaction. Over 80% of participants reported an improvement in their emotional condition after utilizing the platform, and 75% considered it simple and easy to use, which added to their comfort and happiness. The platform also improved geriatric social participation, reducing emotional isolation, and improving psychological well-being. Emotional design in aged care services meets consumers’ physical demands and promotes emotional support and social engagement, proving its efficacy. Such technologies could improve the elderly’s quality of life, emotional condition, and individualized support in the future.
