IFSW’s African Region Regional President, Oluwatoni Adeleke, issues a statement on the crisis in North Kivu, Goma in the Democratic Republic of Congo

As the President of the International Federation of Social Workers, Africa Region (IFSW Africa), I am profoundly alarmed by the escalating humanitarian crisis in North Kivu, Goma. The surge in violence, mass displacement, and grave human rights violations have left thousands of innocent civilians, particularly women, children, and other vulnerable groups, in urgent need of humanitarian assistance.
