Schools have become the primary setting for youth mental health services, with school social workers (SSWs) playing a vital role. Nearly 70 percent to 80 percent of children access mental health support through schools (Anderson & Hayes, 2023; Carnes, 2023; Richard & Villarreal Sosa, 2014). This dual role allows schools to bridge education and mental health services, meeting a critical need (Beech et al., 2023).
