New needle pickup project aims to prevent overdose deaths in Regina

APSS Executive Director Shiny Mary Varghese and Dr. Andrew Eaton, Assistant Professor in the University of Regina’s Faculty of Social Work in front of the APSS building in Regina. Dr. Eaton stated that “we will be going to areas of high needle prevalence on a monthly basis to offer pop up naloxone training and support groups offered in partnership with community organizations.”
