Millions of Floridians struggle to access dental care. The issue isn’t too few dentists, but too few serving residents in rural areas or willing to accept patients on Medicaid or the uninsured. At Evara Health clinics in Pinellas County, providers work to meet needs, but waits for new patients can be more than six months long.
