Atlanta Public Schools social worker becomes first Black person to lead national group

Four years ago, the School Social Work Association of America named Terriyln Rivers-Cannon its National School Social Worker of the Year. . . . Early this year, Rivers-Cannon, in a repeat of firsts, was elected president of the 3,000-member association.
