Preventing suicide in England: One year on

First annual report on the cross-government outcomes strategy to save lives

Summary: Reports on the developments and highlights of the cross-government outcomes strategy on suicide prevention over the last year. Covers: trends in suicide; new messages from research; self harm; supporting mental health in a financial crisis; helping people bereaved by suicide; and plans to support implementation of the strategy. Includes a section on children and young people and suicide, looking at the role of schools and other local services, young people’s mental health and the role of the internet in reaching vulnerable individuals.
