Closing Canada’s Gender Gap

This study looks at Canada’s progress in closing the gap between men and women over the past two decades, and finds that at its current rate of advancement, the country will not close its gender gap for another 228 years. The report also looks at gaps in women’s economic and political participation, and calls for an investment of political and financial resources into organizations and institutions that represent the needs and interests of women in Canada. – See more at: https://policyalternatives.ca/publications/reports/closing-canadas-gender-gap#sthash.ISGCG1aq.dpuf
