Feminism Revisited: The Lessons Beyond the Privileged Lens

Yoder, Snell, & Tobias (XXXX) present an important study linking feminist beliefs with liberation with well-being for a group of predominantly White college-enrolled women. In this reaction to their work, the authors discuss how we can use the results of this study to further develop the concept of liberation and feminist beliefs for diverse women with varying degrees of privilege. The relationship between the current study and liberation psychology perspectives are addressed, as well as practical implications of these perspectives.
