Families make all the difference : helping kids to grow and learn (AIFS facts sheet)

This Facts Sheet has been prepared for the 2012 National Families Week, with this year’s theme being ‘Families make all the difference: Helping kids to grow and learn’. The Facts Sheet provides a range of information on the ways in which families nurture and support children’s physical, learning and social emotional development – drawing on findings from ‘Growing Up in Australia: The Longitudinal Study of Australian Children (LSAC)’.
