Evaluating programs (CAFCA resource sheet)

Aimed at program practitioners and service providers, this resource sheet provides a beginner’s introduction to program evaluation. Sections include: Why evaluate?; Types of evaluations; Getting started; Program logic models; Collecting data: what is ‘good’ evidence?; Evaluation designs; Common measures and indicators; Statistical analysis; and Evaluation in Indigenous contexts. Each section features bibliographies of useful resources, which have been selected primarily for their suitability for use by practitioners with little or no experience of conducting evaluations.
